  1. Let's start with the simplest thing - you need to go to the grocery store. Don’t take a cheat sheet with you on which the list of goods is written, write it down and try to remember what you wrote, then go to the store. If the situation is completely hopeless, then take your grocery list with you, but try not to take it out of your bag. Buy as a souvenir, and at the very end, take it out and check whether you bought everything or not.
  2. When you talk with employees, with a neighbor on the landing, with a girlfriend or friend, try to remember as much as possible: eye color, clothing, some small things done on clothing or on a person. Listen carefully to what they say to you, delve into every detail .After the conversation, try to remember everything down to the smallest detail and scroll through it again in your head. This way you can train your auditory and visual memory.
  3. Train yourself to read, this can be any time during your lunch break or before bed. You can read one to five pages at first, and gradually try to reach at least ten or twenty pages. Read carefully. After you read, try to retell it in as much detail as possible. If you don’t have time to retell what you read, then you can do it while you’re eating home or going to the store.
  4. On your way to work or to the store, you can remember the numbers of houses or license plates of cars that pass by. It trains your memory well.
  5. Try to remember the price tags in the store for the goods you buy. Once you remember the prices, you can compare them with the prices of another store.
  6. If you are preparing a new dish, using a new recipe, try to remember it. You can try to write it down from memory, on paper, and then check it with the original recipe.
  7. Learn the poem by heart and please your loved one with it. Learn the words new song. On your way to work or to the store, you can hum a new song to yourself.
  8. If you are walking, try changing your route and taking a different road. Look carefully at what new and interesting things you saw while you were walking, perhaps beautiful houses and unusual signs on stores, maybe beautiful flowers or fluffy blue Christmas trees. When you get home, remember your new route and replay it in your head. What do you remember about him? What are your impressions of this route? What new did you see?

Yuri Okunev School

Good afternoon friends! Yuri Okunev is with you again.

Do you want to know who you are in life? Sherlock Holmes or the Absent-Minded Man from Basseynaya Street? I suggest you take a short test of attention and memory.

This series of tests is intended for adults and older children (teenagers).
1. Munsterberg method, concentration test. Before you are several lines consisting of letters. There are 23 words hidden among these letters. Find and underline them, note how much time you spent:

If you did not find all the words, then add 5 seconds to your time for each missed word. Compare the results obtained with the grid:

2. Gorbov test(“Red-black”) to determine the degree of switching of attention. Here is the first table. We need to find all the black numbers in ascending order (up to 24) as quickly as possible. Opposite each number there are letters - they need to be written down on a piece of paper in a row. Done. Now we are looking for red numbers in descending order from 25 to 1. We also write down the letters, in the second row. We record the time how much we spent on the exercise.

Now take the following table. Also, for the time being, we are looking for numbers in this order: red 25, black 1, red 24, black 2, that is, black in ascending order, red in descending order. Don’t forget to write the letters on the piece of paper: red in the top row, black in the bottom. We record the time.

To evaluate the results, you need to subtract the first from the second time indicator. The smaller this difference is, the higher the switchability rate.

3. "Ten words." Testing your attention span. Let someone read 10 words to you, and you remember. Then we take a piece of paper and write down all the words from memory. We repeat the action 4 times, with different sets of words. Example:

Count how many words in each group you managed to write down correctly. If 8 or more, then you have good volume. If 5 or less, you need to work on yourself.

Option for children

Designed for preschoolers and primary schoolchildren.

1. "Confusion." Determine the degree of concentration. There are 10 tangled lines in the picture. The start number of each line and the end point do not match. Task: find and write down both numbers for all ten lines.

A 7-year-old schoolchild must flawlessly complete this task within 1.5-2 minutes.

2. "Rings". We measure the stability of attention. We put the table in front of the child and ask him to cross out all the rings, for example, those with a gap at the bottom.

Children 7 years old with excellent indicators of sustained attention manage to process up to 11 rows in the table in 5 minutes. At 9-10 years old, children have time to complete the entire card.

3. “Ancient hieroglyphs.” Determine the switching speed. It is required to complete the figures with 1-2 sticks in accordance with the sample. We evaluate the execution speed.

Service Vikium

The service is suitable for testing the attention characteristics of you and your child Vikium. All statistics and results are clearly displayed on the screen. This site is also convenient because any parameter of attention or memory can be “tightened up” short time to normal and train. Developmental exercises are selected individually for each client and do not take much time. You can read about my impressions of the service.
This is where I end. Take the test, do it with your whole family, and be sure to write about your impressions in the comments. Tell all your friends and acquaintances.
I wish you success! Yours, Yuri Okunev.

Take tests and find out your level of concentration

You probably guess that psychology has already come up with more accurate tools, instead of bowls of oil, for diagnosing such an important mental function as attention. If you think that the bitter truth is better than a sweet lie, you can take the risk. We suggest you check your level of concentration, and if you are also a manager, the level of absent-mindedness of your subordinates. The three following tests of attention are the most reliable tests currently existing in psychology.

Munsterberg technique

is a solid alphabetic text, among which there are words. The test subject's task, while reading the text, is to find these words as quickly as possible. Two minutes are allotted for work. Before taking the test, print it out on paper, find a stopwatch, or ask a friend to be the judge. Each word found is underlined in pencil. After the subject finishes, the number of underlined words must be counted and compared with the correct answer.

propriety

odkuidesperationenfrlnyachvtjheftasenlaboratorygshdschiuctrrilont

ovaniyazh.

There are 23 words encrypted in this test. If you don't finish it in 2 minutes, it means you have a below average attention span. If you found all the words in 2 minutes, this is a good result. If you even have time left, this is an excellent result. If you find fewer than 23 words, then for each missing word you add a 5-second penalty (the threshold time is exactly 2 minutes).

Schulte tables

The table is a set of numbers (from 1 to 25) arranged in random order in cells. The subject must show and name all the numbers from one to twenty-five as quickly as possible. You can record the numbers only with your eyes or with a pen, but do not leave marks. Five tables are provided for five attempts. The time spent on this work must be recorded.

Evaluation of results.

  • Concentration of attention is at a good level - if no more than 40 seconds are spent on each of the tables.
  • Concentration of attention is at a sufficient level - if no more than 50 seconds are spent on each of the tables.
  • Concentration is weak - if more than 50 seconds are spent on each of the tables.

“10 words” technique

This test is based on the close connection between concentration and short-term memory. The subject is read ten random words, selected without obvious semantic or associative connections. After a single reading, you are asked to reproduce all the words in any order. If you work independently, you need to read ten words only once, carefully reading each concept, and reproduce them by bending your fingers.

There are 5 sets of 10 words (for five attempts).

1. Book, rose, domino, yacht, rabbit, glasses, brick, nest, needle, double bass.

2. Swamp, prince, cat, shop, desk, football, cloud, jellyfish, picture, thermometer.

3. Axe, thunderstorm, wine, armor, zoo, samurai, factory, weight, baron, ore.

4. Cinema, apple, teapot, miracle, rhinoceros, October, finish, brush, grain, paper.

5. Cabbage, sword, pillow, road, saw, hill, fence, pipe, wedding, mosquito.

Evaluation of results.

Concentration is good if after one reading you can reproduce 8 or more words. Concentration is satisfactory if you can reproduce 7 words. Concentration is weak if you can reproduce less than 7 words.

——————————————————————————————————-

Then go through this one, take a couple of exercises you like and train your attention. For one month of work, enjoyment (the exercises are very exciting!). You will improve your concentration by 50-70%.

Good luck, you will succeed, I know, because I did it!

Tests

Do you pay attention to details? Or are you a completely unobservant person?

A simple test can tell you how attentive a person you are.

Check your attentiveness. Take a look at both pictures.

Attentiveness test

1. Find the same object in two pictures:

Only one object is repeated in both pictures. Can you find and determine which element is repeated in two images?

If you can do it within one minute, consider yourself very observant. So, did you manage to find a duplicate image?

Here are a few more tasks for attentiveness in pictures. These kinds of problems, although at first glance seem simple, they very clearly determine the level of your attentiveness.

Attention tests in pictures

2. Find 2 letters N:

Can you spot a different element in these pictures?

3. Find a machine that is different from others:

4. Find a pair that is different from others:

5. Find a house that is different from others in some way:

6. Find a motorcycle that is different from others:

Now let's check if your answers match the correct answers:

Answer to problem #1:

The recurring element is a bicycle.

2. Answer to problem No. 2.

Attention, like memory, is the main skill in our life. Without attention, it is difficult for a child to remember something new, repeat what was said and apply it in life. A child needs attention for development, for moving forward, for learning, for acquiring new knowledge and skills.

It is necessary to develop not only attention, but also memory, thinking and logic.

Attention tests for children

Exercises to develop a child’s attention, memory and thinking

Exercise 1 “Do and Tell”

Teach your child to concentrate on any simple activity, such as drawing. Explain to the child out loud what he must do, correct him, pronounce every movement of the child. Communicate more with your child and comment out loud on his actions.

Teach your child to perform all actions sequentially. Gradually, the child will learn to do everything consistently on his own.

Exercise 2 “Find the object”

The game, find the object, is well suited for developing attention. Look at some object in the room, for example, a pyramid. Describe the pyramid to the child so that he understands what you are describing and says what it is. For example, this object is tall, it has many details, describe what these parts are, what color and size they are, and so on.

Exercise 3 “Let's look at each other”

The exercise “Let's look at each other” develops the child's attention well, improves memory, it is very simple, interesting and fun. Your child will enjoy playing this game. Give your child the opportunity to look at you carefully for a few seconds. Then he turns away and tells you everything he remembers about you.

For example, hair color, description of your face, what you are wearing, what color, and so on. If the child could not tell much, do not scold him, play this game again. Studying you, the second time the child will be more attentive than the first time.

This game can, even should be played in reverse, look at your child, turn away and describe what you remember. Your child will draw conclusions about what you said and what he missed. You can talk through these conclusions while delving into the details together.

Exercise 4 “Disturb me”

An interesting exercise: “Disturb me.” Here you can play together - dad, mom and child. The role of the father is to ask different questions to the child, for example, what color is the cube, does the car have wheels, where is the ball, what is your name, and so on. The child must answer questions quickly.

The mother's role is to distract the child when he answers questions. If your child was able to answer the questions without getting distracted, reward him. Next time he will try even better.

This game can be played by two people, for example, a child recites a poem or retells a fairy tale, and you distract him.

Exercise 5 “Be Attentive”

Recently, children's books often offer exercises to develop memory and attention. For example:

A picture is drawn, the child looks and remembers what is depicted on it. After two or three minutes the book closes and the child must tell what he remembers. This is a simple task, but it trains your memory well.

This exercise can be used for any subject, look at it, remember it and then tell it. For example:

There is a carpet on the floor in your room. Look carefully at the drawing that is depicted on the carpet with your child, let the child remember this drawing. You can look at it for two or three minutes. Then look away from the carpet and try to tell what you remember. Next time you can look at some painting or sculpture and talk about it. Each subsequent lesson you should reduce the memorization time.

Exercise 6 “Try to remember”

You can develop observation, attention and visual memory different ways. Let's consider one of them.

For example:

Let's take five different objects for children. It could be a pencil, a pen, a colored eraser, a ball, or a jump rope. Let the children look at all these items, then put them in a dark bag. The guys must take turns telling what they remember.

Older children and adults can also use this exercise.

For example:

Let's take more, seven or ten items. It could be a spoon, a mug, a glass holder, a medal, beautiful stone and so on. All these items must be examined quickly and carefully; one minute is given for memorization. Then put it in a dark bag and try to tell what you remember.

With each subsequent lesson, the memorization time must be reduced and the number of items increased.
