Published on March 20, 2018

Good afternoon Dear friends. If you decide to thoroughly prepare for Easter 2019, then this article will help you make something unusual with your own hands. Most of the crafts will look like Easter bunnies, chickens, and eggs. All this is related to Easter and therefore will be in great demand in the coming days.Of course there will be more information for teachers and educators and parents. In schools and kindergartens closer to Easter, everything will be organized possible competition to the very the best craft made with your own hands. And our note will help you be ready and take first place.

We will mainly craft from scrap materials that can be easily found in your home. And the simpler and more unusual your craft is, the more chances you will have to take first place in competitions and receive a large reward for your work as a prize for first place.

If your school has started a competition for the best handmade craft, but it doesn’t occur to you to do something unusual. This selection will help you make a choice. Most often, competitions are held in primary school, and at this age you can invite the child to do, for example beautiful applique on the theme of Easter.

For this applique you will need the following kit.

  • Colored thick cardboard.
  • Colored napkins.
  • Satin ribbons.
  • Stapler.
  • Glue.
  • Scissors.

Draw an egg on a sheet of cardboard and cut it out, and also cut out the cardboard from the inside to make a frame like this.

Take satin ribbon and wrap the frame. You can choose any color green, pink, or blue.

On yellow cardboard we schematically draw chickens and cut them out along the contour. Also mark the elements of the pattern and also cut them out.

You need to cut out several (at least 7-10 layers) circles from a colored napkin and staple them together using a stapler.

Glue a circle to the chicken and fold it in the shape of a rose. And also glue the beaks and paws.

Glue the chicken and cut out patterns to the frame wrapped with ribbon. Make a bow from a thin ribbon of a different color and glue it to the top.

Balloon craft

The craft may seem complicated at first glance, but it really is not. Everything is done so easily and simply that you want to repeat it again.

You will need it.

  • 1 balloon.
  • 2-3 skeins of thread.
  • PVA glue or klester.

Inflate the ball. And we begin to wrap it with threads. Threads can be used in different colors. After each layer of thread, coat the ball with glue and apply another layer of thread. Apply threads in different directions. The more layers, the more beautiful. Afterwards, we simply hang the ball in the room and wait for the glue to harden.

When the glue dries well, pierce the ball with a needle and you will be left with this shape of threads.

So that such a ball can be placed, take a suitable lid and also cover it woolen threads or twine.

That's all and not as difficult as it seemed at first glance.

You can, of course, complicate the task for yourself, but if you have patience and still do it, the first place will definitely be yours.

Transfer the pattern onto paper.

In fact, the craft is not that complicated, it just requires a lot of patience and a little time.

There is an alternative. Cut out 5-10 ovals in the shape of an egg. Glue them in the middle and bend them into the shape of a lantern.

Papier-mâché egg

Take a regular egg.

An old newspaper.

PVA glue.

Water.

We tear the newspaper into small pieces and soak it in water, add glue to the water.

We take pieces of newspaper and glue the pieces randomly onto the mold. In several layers. After each layer, let it dry a little.

When 3-5 layers have dried, carefully cut the paper and remove the template.

Glue the two halves together, give a couple more layers and apply white paint as a base.

After the paint has dried, paint the egg with an Easter theme.

You can also use a regular ball as a template.
